About the role
Join Voyage Care as a Support Worker in Formby, providing personalised care for adults with acquired brain injury. You will work within a dynamic team to help service users gain independence and enjoy a better quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Assist service users with personal care, daily living tasks and medication management.
- Support individuals to develop new life skills and encourage community participation.
- Accompany service users to appointments, outings, restaurants and social activities.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities such as games, film sessions and outings.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Required profile
- A genuine caring attitude and passion for improving people’s lives.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including evenings, nights and weekends.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Commitment to uphold the values and standards of Voyage Care.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills are required; training will be provided.
