Support Worker – Community Care

About the role
As a Support Worker at Consensus you will help adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live independently in their own flats. You will be part of a supportive community that encourages personal growth and meaningful daily experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and home management.
- Promote independence by encouraging residents to take responsibility for their own spaces.
- Facilitate participation in community, leisure and social activities.
- Support communication needs and help residents interact effectively with others.
- Celebrate special occasions and provide emotional support as required.
Required profile
- Values aligned with person‑centred care and empowerment.
- Open to candidates new to care or with experience as a mental health support worker, care worker, healthcare assistant or care assistant.
- Willingness to undergo a free DBS check.
