Support Worker – Complex Care (Female)

About the role

The AICS Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide complex care for a female client in the Sevenoaks (TN13) area. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering neuro‑rehabilitation and spinal injury support, helping the client transition from hospital to home.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in the client’s home.
• Support rehabilitation programmes and therapy goals.
• Assist with manual handling and mobility support.
• Administer and monitor medication safely.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and therapists.
• Monitor progress, report changes, and provide emotional support.
• Help prevent complications and promote long‑term wellbeing.

Required profile

• Experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries and complex needs.
• Strong manual handling skills.
• Background in medication administration (hospital/ICU experience desirable).
• Understanding of rehabilitation and recovery pathways.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good IT and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and accept feedback.
