Support Worker – Complex Care (Full/Part Time)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our temporary pool of complex care staff across Portsmouth, Guildford and Brighton. You will provide person‑centred care to individuals with complex health needs, helping them live safely and with dignity in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver care in line with individual care plans and clinical guidance.
• Assist with personal care, daily living tasks and promote independence.
• Provide clinical support within your training, including seizure management, feeding support (PEG/NG), tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, O₂ administration and suctioning.
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report any changes in condition.
• Follow safeguarding, infection‑control and medication handling policies.
• Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams and other staff as required.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK and ability to travel within PO, GU and BN areas.
• Compassionate, reliable and calm approach to complex situations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written care instructions.
• Willingness to complete required training and competency sign‑offs.
