Support Worker Driver (Female) – Darlington

About the role

Join Creative Support Ltd in Darlington as a warm, caring Support Worker Driver. You will deliver person‑centred care to adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities, supporting them both in supported‑living settings and within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users.
• Assist individuals with cooking, cleaning, housework and other daily life skills.
• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with each service user.
• Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks.
• Work flexibly across day, evening, weekend, bank‑holiday and sleep‑in shifts as required.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering person‑centred care in a supportive environment.
• Warm, proactive and caring attitude.
• Ability to work with adults experiencing mental health challenges and learning disabilities.
• Full, clean driving licence (essential).
• Female gender considered an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence within the country.
