Support Worker Driver – Floating Support Service

About the role

Creative Support Ltd is hiring a Support Worker Driver for its Floating Support Service covering Bishop Auckland and East Durham. You will provide practical and emotional assistance to individuals with mental health needs, helping them engage with their community and achieve recovery goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised support in clients' homes or community settings, following individual support plans.
• Identify and facilitate opportunities for social inclusion and recovery‑focused activities.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Assist the Project Manager with day‑to‑day service operations and documentation.
• Drive safely to client locations using an accessible, insured vehicle.

Required profile

• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence within the region.
• Reliable, accessible car and a valid UK driving licence.
• Commitment to an inclusive, anti‑racist workplace culture.
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive training and a DBS check.

Required skills

• Safe driving and vehicle maintenance.
