Support Worker (Driver) – Person‑Centred Care

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team in Fleetwood as Support Workers with a driving component. In this role you will deliver person‑centred, outcome‑focused care that helps residents build confidence, independence and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Support residents to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Assist tenants in sustaining their housing and reducing homelessness risk.
• Teach independent living skills such as budgeting, money management and home safety.
• Facilitate engagement with landlords, housing providers and external services.
• Signpost residents to additional support services and address substance‑misuse issues when appropriate.
• Help residents access education, employment, training, healthcare and community opportunities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience providing care and support to people with housing‑related needs.
• Clean, valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence within the country.

Required skills

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Access to a reliable vehicle.
