Support Worker Driver – Person‑Centred Care

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker who also holds a valid driving licence to join our team in Fleetwood. In this role you will deliver person‑centred support, helping residents develop the confidence and skills needed to live independently.

Key responsibilities

• Support residents in improving mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Assist tenants to sustain their tenancies and reduce the risk of homelessness.
• Promote independent living skills such as budgeting, money management and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Facilitate engagement with landlords and accommodation providers.
• Signpost residents to external services that meet their needs.
• Provide appropriate support for substance‑misuse issues.
• Help individuals access education, employment, training, healthcare and community opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience caring for people with housing‑related support needs.
• Clean, valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence in the area.
• Compassionate, motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
