Support Worker – Full‑Time Care Role in Edinburgh

About the role

Randstad Care is seeking experienced Support Workers to join its expanding team in Edinburgh and Midlothian. The position is full‑time and permanent, offering flexible shift patterns and the opportunity to earn a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal and social care support to clients in assigned locations across Edinburgh and Midlothian.
• Travel to client homes and adapt to variable visit lengths ranging from 30 minutes to over an hour.
• Maintain accurate records of care activities and follow agency guidelines.

Required profile

• Mandatory professional experience in social care.
• Permanent, unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
• Flexibility to work 8, 10 or 12‑hour shifts between 07:00 and 22:00.
• Ability to cover specific postcode areas (EH3, EH4, EH5, EH10, EH16, EH17 and Midlothian) with a UK driver’s licence and car, or to walk if residing within the designated zones.
