Support Worker – Full‑time, Wareham

About the role

Join Voyage Care as a full‑time Support Worker in Wareham, providing personalised care and support to adults in a supported living setting. You will help individuals gain independence, enjoy community activities and improve their quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Teach new life‑skills and support personal care tasks.
• Encourage and facilitate access to local community activities, socialising and outings.
• Organise and participate in a variety of recreational activities such as video games, films, cinema visits and pub outings.
• Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation and hygiene.
• Provide sleep‑in support at least one night per week.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• Resilient, flexible and composed approach.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, trauma and behaviours of distress.
