Support Worker – Home Care (Lichfield)

About the role

Join Apollo Home Healthcare as a Support Worker providing person‑centred care to a friendly lady in her 60s within her own home in Lichfield. You will help maintain her independence, offer companionship and assist with everyday activities in a supportive, pet‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support with personal care, mobility and daily living tasks.
• Prompt assistance with medication administration.
• Assist with household tasks to promote independence.
• Facilitate access to the local community and social activities.
• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
• Care for and walk two pet dogs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 months paid experience in a professional care setting in the UK.
• Compassionate, person‑centred approach to care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Willingness to complete client‑specific clinical training.
• Full UK automatic driving licence (essential).
• Comfortable working in a home with two dogs.
