Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our expanding care teams in Edinburgh and Midlothian. The role involves delivering high‑quality social care to clients in their homes, with flexible shift patterns and the opportunity to earn competitive pay through overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities according to each client’s care plan.
• Conduct home visits of varying lengths (30 minutes to over an hour) across designated postcode areas.
• Travel to assigned locations using a personal vehicle or on foot, depending on residence.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate any changes in client needs to the care team.
• Adhere to health, safety and safeguarding policies at all times.

Required profile

• Professional experience in social care.
• Permanent, unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
• Flexibility to work 8, 10 or 12‑hour shifts between 07:00 and 22:00.
• UK driving licence and car for roles covering EH3, EH4, EH5, EH10, EH16, EH17 and Midlothian, or ability to walk to assignments within EH4, EH5, EH10, EH16 or EH17.
• For Senior Support Worker positions, SVQ Level 3 qualification.
