Support Worker

About the role

Join Cygnet at Ducks Halt in the picturesque village of Kirby-le-Soken, Essex, to support adults living with learning disabilities and complex needs. As a confident Support Worker you will deliver outstanding, person‑centred care, helping individuals achieve their goals, develop life skills and enjoy a full, happy life. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week) and offers the chance to make a real difference every day.

Key responsibilities

• Offer enhanced, flexible care tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Provide physical and emotional guidance and encouragement.
• Learn about each person’s specific requirements and deliver appropriate support.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report them as required.
• Safeguard individuals and maintain a safe, clean environment.
