Support Worker – Learning Disabilities Service

About the role

We are seeking a kind, compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Service in Waltham Forest. This full‑time position offers a salary of £30,784 per annum and a 40‑hour work week, providing vital emotional, psychological and practical support to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and monitor customer behaviours, record triggers and outcomes, and contribute to behaviour support plans.
• Deliver physical, domestic, emotional and social care, promoting independent living and social inclusion.
• Support customers with daily tasks, personal care and community activities such as appointments, shopping and educational enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, behavioural data and progress reports.
• Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or endangerment and adhere to health and safety policies.
• Participate in team meetings, support planning and risk management, and undertake additional duties as required.
