About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our Mental Health Service in Richmond. The role focuses on providing practical, person‑centred assistance that helps vulnerable adults maintain their tenancy, stay well, and engage with their community.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of service users, conducting initial and ongoing assessments of needs and risks.
- Develop and implement personalised support plans that promote independence and recovery.
- Build trusting relationships with service users, encouraging choice, control, and participation in local activities.
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure appropriate services and resources are coordinated.
- Promote positive risk‑taking and support self‑advocacy, self‑management, and empowerment.
Required profile
- Enjoys social interaction and working with people in a community setting.
- Demonstrates resilience, empathy, and a commitment to recovery‑focused practice.
- Legally eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
