Support Worker – Outreach (Full‑time, Guildford)

About the role

As an Outreach Support Worker you will join Riverside Group’s dedicated team in Guildford, helping vulnerable customers rebuild their lives. You will act as a trusted point of contact, linking people with employability coaches, benefits advice and housing support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised outreach support to customers, assisting with money management, benefits sign‑up and housing transitions.
• Connect customers with external agencies, such as employability coaches and support services.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes, ensuring compliance with risk‑management procedures.
• Work flexibly across varied shift patterns, including occasional lone working, to meet client needs.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable or disadvantaged people.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver structured support and manage risk.
• Empathetic, resilient and able to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Understanding of homelessness, substance misuse or related lived experience is valued.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional lone work.

Required skills

• Record‑keeping and administrative competence.
