Support Worker – Part‑time (Wareham)

About the role

Join Agincare as a Support Worker in Wareham, helping individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges and complex support needs live independently. You will provide person‑centred care in a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage service users to take active roles in their community and promote independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal planning, budgeting and routine support.
• Communicate using each person’s preferred methods and support social interaction.
• Apply positive behavioural support approaches when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in health or circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with the team while also using initiative when required.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with strong people skills.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Availability for bank (flexible) positions.
