Support Worker – Person‑Centred Care in Headington

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our dedicated care team at a supported‑living service in Headington, Oxfordshire. The role involves providing person‑centred care to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing and toileting.
• Administer prescribed medication safely and accurately.
• Support service users in daily activities such as cooking, shopping, walking and community outings.
• Encourage participation in social and recreational activities both on‑site and in the community.
• Build trusting relationships with service users, their families and the wider care team.
• Work independently and as part of a shift pattern covering days, evenings, weekends and occasional sleep‑ins.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for person‑centred care and supporting individuals to achieve their goals.
• Reliability, empathy and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to undertake full training and pursue a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to travel to Headington.
