Support Worker – Person‑Centred Care in Manchester

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to join a Manchester‑based team delivering person‑centred care. In this full‑time permanent role you will support individuals with diverse needs, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support in line with personal care plans.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation and medication support.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and community activities.
• Build trusting relationships with service users and their families.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare professionals and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a support or care role is desirable.
• Genuine passion for helping others and a patient, empathetic approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and varied shift patterns.
• Willingness to obtain a valid DBS check.
• Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
