Support Worker – Polish Speakers Needed

About the role

Join Kiwi Children’s Services, a specialist home in Bristol that supports children and young people with complex mental health, emotional and behavioural needs. As a Support Worker you will provide day‑to‑day care, emotional support and help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can heal and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily personal care and emotional support to children and young people.
• Develop and maintain positive routines and engaging activities.
• Support educational goals and facilitate access to learning opportunities.
• Act as a key worker when required, contributing to care plans and reviews.
• Collaborate with therapists, schools, families and other professionals.
• Maintain a calm, energetic, child‑focused presence throughout varied daily tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a caring or support role.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (mandatory).
• Polish language ability (advantageous).
• Strong communication, listening and resilience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic health and social care knowledge.
• Driving licence for transport duties.
• Polish language proficiency for communication with families.
