About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our residential care home in Keighley, West Yorkshire. You will help individuals with physical and learning disabilities live as independently as possible, both within the home and in the community.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
- Support individuals during community outings, shopping, and leisure activities.
- Help with eating, drinking and medication administration.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, families and specialists to deliver person‑centred care.
- Contribute to the long‑term plan of moving residents into supported living accommodation.
Required profile
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and autism.
- Hold the Care Certificate or a diploma in Health and Social Care.
- Resilient, patient and able to communicate clearly.
- Willingness to learn about epilepsy management (training provided).
- Consistent and compassionate approach to support.
