Support Worker – Residential Home (Royston, £1500 Welcome Bonus)

About the role

Join a respected residential home in the Royston area, providing dedicated care and guidance to young adults with complex needs. This full‑time temporary role offers a supportive environment where you can make a real difference each day.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality personal care (washing, dressing, continence, feeding, positioning).
• Facilitate social activities, community outings and peer interaction.
• Support attendance at school, college, skills centres and other day‑to‑day activities.
• Assist individuals in achieving goals set in their Individual Care and Education Plans.
• Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required.
• Promote a safe, secure and happy living environment for all residents.
• Safeguard wellbeing, report concerns promptly and contribute to risk, capacity and best‑interest assessments.
• Participate in training, supervision and development opportunities.
• Take on Keyworker or Co‑Keyworker duties and develop medication administration skills.
