Support Worker – Scottish Isles (Full‑time/Contract)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Support Workers to join our teams across the Scottish Isles, including the Western Isles, Argyll & Bute, Orkney and Shetland. The role offers full‑time hours (45‑70+ per week) on a placement of at least three months, allowing you to provide essential care while enjoying some of the UK’s most scenic coastal communities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver home‑care support to individuals in their own homes and local communities.
• Assist in residential care homes and supported‑living services.
• Provide personal care, moving & handling, and medication administration.
• Empower vulnerable adults in remote island settings.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Support Worker in the UK.
• Willingness to commit to a placement of at least three months.
• Own a car and hold a valid driving licence (essential for island travel).
• Experience with moving & handling, medication administration and personal care.
