About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Southampton, providing one‑to‑one assistance to vulnerable adults living in supported accommodation. The role involves helping individuals develop independent living skills while working closely with social workers, housing teams and external agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalised support and key working sessions.
- Complete support plans, risk assessments and case recordings.
- Assist adults with learning disabilities, mental health challenges and addiction histories with budgeting, cooking, tenancy readiness and accessing services.
- Collaborate with social workers, housing teams and external agencies.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
Required profile
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and trauma‑informed support.
- Strong communication, report‑writing and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work independently.
