Support Worker – Supported Living (Cheltenham)

About the role

Turning Point is recruiting Support Workers for its supported living locations in Cheltenham (Woodmancote and Hatherley). You will provide 24‑hour, person‑centred care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism, helping them live as independently as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Promote independence by supporting daily activities such as cleaning, cooking and personal care.
• Organise and accompany residents on community outings, hobbies, sports, arts & crafts, and trips.
• Develop life‑skills, manage budgets, and assist with shopping and cooking.
• Ensure safety and health, including manual handling and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring requirements.

Required profile

• Passionate, caring and enthusiastic about supporting people with complex needs.
• Flexible, patient, non‑judgemental and able to work varied shift patterns.
• Team‑player with high energy and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence (driving required).
• Manual handling capability.
• Medication administration knowledge.
• Record‑keeping proficiency.
