Support Worker - Supported Living

About the role

Join Randstad Care as a Support Worker in a Supported Living setting, helping residents across Scotland's island communities. This temporary full‑time position offers the chance to deliver high‑quality care while experiencing some of the UK’s most stunning locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support to residents in supported living environments.
• Assist with medication administration and health monitoring as required.
• Promote independence and wellbeing while respecting each resident’s preferences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a care or support setting (specific requirements vary by role).
• Current mandatory training and right‑to‑work documentation (PVG scheme membership or willingness to obtain).
• Adaptable, reliable attitude and willingness to integrate into close‑knit island communities.

Required skills

What we offer

• Premium pay rates: £19.62‑£25.00 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella).
• Free shared accommodation for the entire placement.
• Travel costs reimbursed, including ferry bookings to and from the islands.
• Flexible contract lengths: minimum 12 weeks, up to 6 months, with optional holiday after extension.
