Support Worker – Supported Living (Southampton)

About the role
Join Agincare’s dedicated team in Hedge End, Southampton, delivering person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges and complex needs. You will help individuals live as independently as possible within their own homes and the local community.
Key responsibilities
- Encourage service users to take an active role in their community and promote independence.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal planning, budgeting and social outings.
- Communicate using each person’s preferred methods and support positive behavioural approaches when needed.
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes in health or circumstances to management.
- Work collaboratively with the team while also using initiative to meet individual needs.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with strong people skills.
- Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to take full‑time, part‑time or bank positions.
Required skills
- Effective communication using a variety of methods.
- Ability to support daily living tasks and promote independence.
- Record‑keeping and reporting accuracy.
