Support Worker – Supported Living (Weymouth)

About the role

Join Agincare as a Support Worker in Weymouth, providing person‑centred care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges and complex needs. You will help residents live as independently as possible within supported living settings.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage residents to engage actively in their local community and promote independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, routines, meal preparation and budgeting.
• Communicate effectively using each person’s preferred methods.
• Motivate and engage residents to enhance their quality of life.
• Apply positive behavioural support approaches where needed.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team while also using initiative when required.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with strong people skills.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work part‑time in a supported living environment.
