Support Worker – Temp to Perm (Nantwich)

About the role

We are looking for compassionate Support Workers to provide person‑centred care for adults with autism and mental health needs in Nantwich. You will help service users develop independence, confidence and daily living skills while ensuring their safety and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support for personal care, meal preparation and daily activities.
• Assist service users in building social and life skills.
• Follow moving and handling procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Work a flexible rota covering shifts between 07:00 and 22:00, including weekends and nights.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the local authority team.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting individuals with autism and mental health needs.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Full‑time availability, including weekends and night shifts.
• Preferably holds a full UK driving licence and lives locally.
• Visa holders must have at least nine months remaining on their visa.
• Willing to share hobbies and interests for matching with service users.

Required skills

• Moving and Handling Practical certificate.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
