Support Worker – Young People (Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire)

About the role

Paragon Social Care is seeking compassionate individuals to provide specialist support for children and young people in local authority care across Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. As a Support Worker you will help young people navigate daily life, build independence and achieve personal goals in residential and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, consistent, trauma‑informed support to young people.
• Build professional relationships based on trust and respect.
• Support education, life‑skills development and independence.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and healthy routines.
• Transport young people to school, appointments and community activities.
• Work alongside other professionals to ensure high‑quality care.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding processes.

• Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Confident communicator with young people and professionals.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.

What we offer

• £17.50‑£24.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay).
• £20.00‑£28.00 per hour Umbrella.
