Support Worker – Young People Mental Health Service

About the role
We are seeking a kind, compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Young People Mental Health Service in Ealing. No personal care experience is required – the right values are essential. The role is full‑time, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £30,784 per annum.
Key responsibilities
- Build supportive, trusting relationships with young people and create a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
- Work proactively with the team to manage the service caseload and complete administrative tasks.
- Conduct keywork sessions using creative approaches to help young people achieve their Support Plan goals.
- Collaborate with young people to assess and manage risks, encouraging positive risk‑taking and shared decision‑making.
- Support young people transitioning from hospital or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to adult services.
Required profile
- Ability to advocate for young people in professional and community settings.
- Commitment to collaborative working to ensure services meet young people's needs.
- Understanding of how trauma and adversity affect mental health.
- Compassionate, resilient and values‑driven attitude.
