Support Worker – Youth Residential Care

About the role

We’re looking for a caring Support Worker to join our supported accommodation team in Southampton. In this role you will support young people with their daily routines, build positive relationships and help them develop confidence, life skills and independence. You will work in a safe and welcoming home, providing 24‑hour shift coverage including paid sleep‑in periods.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare, health and social care or equivalent, or be willing to work towards it.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car, as travel is required.
• Friendly with strong listening and communication skills when speaking with children and colleagues.
