Supported Housing Officer (Temporary)

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Supported Housing Officer to join our team in Watford on a six‑month temporary contract. You will work within a supported living environment, providing essential assistance to vulnerable tenants and helping them maintain stable tenancies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of clients, delivering emotional and practical support.
- Develop and maintain support plans and risk assessments in partnership with service users.
- Enforce tenancy conditions, address low‑level anti‑social behaviour and rent arrears.
- Provide budgeting advice and assist tenants with benefit entitlements.
- Conduct regular property inspections and organise viewings to minimise void periods.
- Support void properties through viewings, sign‑ups and re‑letting processes.
Required profile
- Experience supporting vulnerable or homeless individuals, particularly in tenancy matters.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) within the last three years.
- Good knowledge of tenancy agreements, Section 21 and Section 8 procedures.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle, as the role covers multiple sites.

- Hourly rate of £18.40, paid via umbrella company.
