Sustainability Manager

About the role

The Sustainability Manager will lead the development and delivery of the company's Beyond Cleaning sustainability strategy across all operations and client contracts. Working closely with operational teams, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders, you will translate sustainability objectives into measurable outcomes that support the business’s growth and Net Zero ambition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the Beyond Cleaning sustainability strategy.
• Embed sustainability objectives throughout the business and client services.
• Coordinate initiatives with operational, commercial and support departments and monitor progress against targets.
• Own the carbon management programme, including annual carbon footprint measurement, reporting and reduction activities.
• Manage Carbon Neutral accreditation and related reporting requirements.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to reduce Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions.
• Drive improvements in environmental performance, waste management, social value and responsible procurement.
• Maintain key sustainability accreditations and support business growth through innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sustainability strategy and carbon management programmes.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of carbon accounting, Scope 1‑3 emissions and Net Zero targets.
• Experience managing accreditation processes such as Carbon Neutral.
• Commitment to responsible business practices and continuous improvement.
