Sustainability Project Manager – Drive Net Zero Events

About the role

We are looking for a Sustainability Project Manager to lead the implementation of RX’s Net Zero Carbon events pledge. In this role you will drive key sustainability initiatives, partner with internal and external stakeholders, and use data insights to achieve measurable emissions reductions across our global events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects that support emissions reductions, including rollout, engagement and tracking of the RX Sustainability Scorecard.
• Develop and launch learning materials to build internal sustainability capability, collaborating with external partners.
• Provide consultancy to high‑impact events to design and deliver their sustainability strategies.
• Work with the Sustainability Data Manager to measure and analyse event‑related carbon emissions, including supplier data.
• Partner with exhibitors, suppliers and other stakeholders to drive meaningful change at events.
• Represent RX in industry workstreams related to Net Zero Carbon Events and support the Sustainability Council.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator and relationship builder with strong stakeholder influence.
• Proven project‑management experience, ideally in sustainability.
• Strong understanding of carbon, sustainability or ESG principles.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Passion for sustainability and corporate responsibility.
