Sustainability Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Sustainability Technical Project Manager will lead and deliver key sustainability initiatives within the Procurement function at Bentley Motors' Crewe headquarters. Working four days onsite per week, you will translate strategy into actionable projects that reduce supply‑chain emissions, ensure regulatory compliance and embed sustainable practices across sourcing and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sustainability projects in Procurement, meeting defined objectives, timelines and outcomes.
• Execute the Procurement sustainability roadmap, turning strategic goals into operational actions.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including tasks, owners, risks and dependencies.
• Establish governance structures, reporting cycles and escalation routes for stakeholder updates.
• Support supplier decarbonisation, emissions‑reduction roadmaps and compliance tracking.
• Integrate sustainability criteria into sourcing decisions and supplier selection.
• Contribute to Product Carbon Footprint and Life Cycle Assessment activities.
• Produce monthly sustainability reports tracking emissions, energy, waste and water KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven operational project‑management experience with a focus on delivery and outcomes.
• Ability to manage complex, cross‑functional workstreams, risks and dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
• Experience working within structured project‑management frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive action across diverse teams.
