Swim School Teacher – Flexible Hours

About the role
Join GLL as a Swim School Teacher at Sleaford Leisure Centre and Better Gym Sleaford. You will deliver safe, consistent swimming lessons to children and adults, helping them build confidence and lifelong water skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, professional poolside service and maintain a positive image of the centre.
- Ensure the safety and control of pupils during lessons and enforce all relevant regulations.
- Encourage pupils to enrol on further courses and assist with new‑enrolments and re‑enrolments.
- Follow the Safeguarding Policy, Behaviour Policy, and Child Protection procedures.
- Record attendance and progression accurately in line with standards.
- Teach according to the product manual to ensure a consistent approach across centres.
Required profile
- Approachable, friendly and patient with the ability to build trust and motivate pupils.
- STA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualified.
- Good knowledge of health, safety and relevant legislation.
- Understanding of Child Protection Policy.
