About the role

David Lloyd Clubs in Luton is seeking a passionate self‑employed Swimming Instructor to deliver one‑to‑one and group swimming sessions for members of all ages. You will inspire confidence in the water, help participants achieve their personal swimming goals, and contribute to a vibrant, health‑focused community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver individual and group swimming lessons in line with club standards.
• Assess swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure a safe environment by monitoring pool safety and adhering to health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages members to enjoy fitness and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Hold a Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or an equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated passion for health, fitness and aquatic activities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self‑starter who takes pride in delivering high‑quality experiences.

Required skills

• Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent).
• Ability to teach swimming techniques to diverse age groups.
