Swimming Pool Supervisor Plus

About the role

The Swimming Pool Supervisor Plus is a new, hands‑on position at Butlin’s resort. You will be the main point of contact for the team during the day, ensuring standards are checked and compliance is high across the department while managing fluctuating guest demand.

Key responsibilities

• Be the operational hands‑on person, ensuring the team works effectively on key tasks and objectives.
• Coach the team to deliver key targets linked to the department (e.g., retail upselling).
• Take responsibility for CAFF audits in accommodation.
• Conduct other departmental audits such as sales targets and perfect‑serve standards.
• Drive add‑on sales and promotions where appropriate.
• Ensure all stock and proposition is available for guests.
• Monitor consistent delivery of a quality guest experience in line with brand/venue guidelines.
• Capture guest feedback, monitor NPS and act where possible.
• Coach and develop the team to meet departmental plans.
• Champion Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
• Maintain focus on RPRPRT when rostering the team.
• Champion communication, ensuring key messages are delivered from managers to teams and plans are executed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the resort, other resorts and central support teams.
• Provide people support for the department, covering onboarding through the employee life‑cycle (PDPs, performance).

Required profile

• Hands‑on operational driver who can be the main point of contact for the team.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Flexibility to work across departments and on intake days (Monday and Friday) and as needed.
• Commitment to delivering high standards and an amazing guest experience.
• Alignment with Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
• Strong communication skills to ensure information flow.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across the resort and central teams.
