Swimming Teacher

About the role

GLL is seeking enthusiastic swimming teachers to join the team at Windrush Leisure Centre in Witney. You will deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons to pupils of all ages, helping them build confidence and competence in the water.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver group and one‑to‑one swimming sessions in line with the product manual.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional poolside environment for customers.
• Monitor pupil safety, enforce health and safety regulations, and follow safeguarding policies.
• Record attendance, progression and performance data accurately.
• Promote further courses and assist with new enrolments and re‑enrolments.

Required profile

• Approachable, patient and able to build trust with pupils.
• Understanding of child protection policies and relevant legislation.
• Commitment to delivering consistent, high‑quality teaching.

Required skills

• STA Level 2 or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
