System Administrator – Software Development Lab

About the role

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and support the infrastructure of our Software Development Lab. The role focuses on maintaining a secure, high‑availability environment for engineering teams working on cutting‑edge software projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain lab servers, virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Manage Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support air‑gapped lab environments and enforce secure data‑transfer procedures.
• Oversee backup, recovery, patching, updates, and system hardening activities.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and assist engineering teams with lab resources.
• Monitor system performance, storage capacity, and overall infrastructure reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation, inventory records, and network diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and configuration‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with virtualization platforms and Windows domain environments.
• Strong knowledge of backup technologies, recovery practices, and network security.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
