System Engineer – Spacecraft Mission & Systems

About the role

We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team who will work on both our current missions and future projects. The successful candidate will be a key member of our Mission and Systems Team to implement the rapid delivery of a spacecraft, from architectural definition to operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Derive and manage mission, system and segment requirement specifications from mission goals, ensuring traceability across space, ground and launch segments.
• Perform system analyses and contribute to system‑level trade‑offs and design architecture decisions.
• Contribute to functional analysis, concept of operations definition, mission analysis, system modes, FMEA/FMECA, and V&V planning.
• Maintain system budgets such as link, power, delta‑v, propellant, etc.
• Evaluate risks, define mitigation strategies and participate in risk, opportunity and resolution plans.
• Write and maintain engineering documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and respond to RIDs.

Required profile

• BSc Degree in Aerospace, Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of end‑to‑end mission experience as a Systems Engineer for space systems.
• MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline (preferred).
• Experience in Assembly, Integration & Verification (AIV) or operations of a space system (preferred).
