Systems Engineer (24x7 Operations)

About the role

OneAdvanced is looking for a versatile Systems Engineer to join its 24x7 Operations squad. You will provide second‑line support for core infrastructure and Microsoft Modern Workplace services across multiple mid‑market clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver second‑line support for Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365 and virtualization platforms.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Modern Workplace services, including Windows client OS, Intune and SCCM.
• Resolve incidents, fulfil service requests and execute approved changes following ITIL processes.
• Perform routine patching, backup verification, endpoint updates and configuration tasks using runbooks.
• Update tickets, changes and configuration items accurately in ServiceNow.
• Participate in shift handovers and contribute to knowledge base articles and runbooks.

Required profile

• Practical experience supporting Microsoft‑based infrastructure in an operational environment.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server administration and Active Directory concepts.
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Willingness to work a 24x7 shift pattern, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
