Systems Engineer – Hybrid (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Bristol team on a hybrid basis. You will work on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects, contributing to the full lifecycle of system development from concept to qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop system concepts and abstract architectures.
• Define, manage and verify system requirements using tools such as DOORS.
• Design hardware, software and mixed‑technology solutions.
• Perform systems safety analysis and integration of complex subsystems.
• Evaluate system performance, resilience and environmental impact throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• Understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycles with practical experience in at least one stage.
• Background in systems or a related engineering discipline within a complex environment.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to resolve ambiguity in requirements and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
