Systems Specialist

About the role

ECI is seeking an experienced Systems Specialist to join its London team. You will work closely with a Client Technology Manager and senior engineers to deliver cloud implementations, desktop engineering support, and networking solutions for a portfolio of financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for client technology, service desk, and engineering teams.
• Provide advanced support for Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS cloud infrastructures.
• Manage enterprise mail platforms and security solutions such as Microsoft Exchange, Google Workspace, Proofpoint Essentials, and Mimecast.
• Implement and maintain security configurations including Azure AD Conditional Access, DUO MFA, Cloudflare, and iBoss zero‑trust services.
• Perform system maintenance, patching, version upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Document processes, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs for internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a systems or cloud engineering role, preferably within managed services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent written communication for detailed documentation and client interaction.
