About the role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking Tamil‑speaking Relief Extra Care Support Workers to join a diverse community of older adults in Harrow. This temporary, full‑time role involves providing person‑centred care that respects cultural values and promotes independence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and assistance with domestic tasks.
• Support mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
• Help service users access work, education and social opportunities.
• Communicate effectively in Tamil to provide culturally sensitive support.
• Work a flexible roster, including evenings, to meet service needs.

Required profile

• Calm, resourceful and energetic with a strong motivation to help older people.
• Hardworking and able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all service users.
• Willing to embrace all aspects of the role, including personal care and community engagement.

Required skills

• Fluent communication in Tamil.
• Positive communication and engagement skills.
• Ability to support personal care, domestic tasks and promote independence.
