Tank Operator – Challenger 3 (Ex‑Forces)

About the role
We are seeking an ex‑forces professional to operate and support the new Challenger 3 main battle tank on a site in South West England. The role offers a regular 37.5‑hour week, no weekend work and extensive overtime opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Operate Challenger 3 tanks during trials and live‑firing exercises.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on the vehicles.
- Provide hands‑on expertise and support to the maintenance team.
- Assist with loading operations and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Required profile
- Former armed‑forces personnel.
- Experience operating Challenger 2 or similar armoured vehicles.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Dorset and commute from nearby towns.
- Ability to work flexible hours and take overtime.
