About the role

As a Tax Advisory Manager you will deliver expert tax advice to a diverse client base, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities to optimise tax efficiencies. This permanent position is based in Warrington within a well‑established professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert tax advice across a range of industries.
• Manage and oversee complex tax compliance and advisory projects.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and develop strategies to improve client outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
• Support junior team members with guidance and technical expertise.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation and professional standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated solutions.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
• Proven experience delivering tax advisory services within professional services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for clients and the business.
