Tax Assistant Manager – Trusts, IHT & Estates

About the role
A Top 40 Accounting Practice located a short walk from Farringdon is seeking a Tax Assistant Manager specialising in Trusts, Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Estates. The role offers flexible/agile working and involves leading a growing team to deliver high‑quality client work.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review trust and estate accounts and tax returns.
- Draft IHT400 and IHT100 forms.
- Produce advisory work for UK and international trusts up to review level.
- Manage a client portfolio and delegate work.
- Train, coach and support junior colleagues.
- Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.
- Help shape service offering and strategy.
Required profile
- Professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, CTA or TEP (study support available).
- Experience drafting advisory work.
- Proven experience preparing trust and estate tax returns and accounts.
- Commercially minded attitude.
