Tax Assistant Manager - US/UK Private Client Tax

About the role

Join a leading Big 4 firm’s US/UK High Net Worth Tax team in London, delivering both compliance and advisory services to high‑net‑worth and internationally mobile individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end US tax compliance process for a portfolio of private‑client clients.
• Prepare and review US tax returns of varying complexity.
• Advise clients on US and UK tax matters, including residency, domicile and cross‑border issues.
• Support projects involving international tax planning and residence considerations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while meeting tight deadlines.
• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching.
• Collaborate with specialists across service lines and international offices.

Required profile

• EA and ATT qualified.
• Strong experience in US/UK private client tax.
• Proven track record preparing and reviewing US tax returns.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to develop further in a specialist area.
